Testimony
I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of 3. God's presence in my life was tangible as I grew up, yet I wandered. In my early 20's while broken down on the 57 Freeway, a truck flipped over right in front of me and caught fire. God used that moment to invite me to wholeheartedly pursue an intimate relationship with Him or choose my own path. Thankfully, I chose Him! (However, long before I chose Him, He had already chosen me!)
Calling to Ministry
As a young child, I especially loved reading the Psalms and Proverbs. I would pray for the wisdom of Solomon when one day God exhorted me to pray specifically for His wisdom and His discernment. Through seeking His heart, hearing Him speak directly to my spirit, and through the confirmation of many Godly men and women in my life, including my pastors, I know that God created me to love, lead, and feed His sheep.
Free Methodist Church
Honestly, God's divine appointment. Our infant daughter would not go into the nursery of the church we attended at the time. Each week her name would appear on the big screen, and I had to return to the nursery to pick her up. My mom was serving at Cucamonga Christian Fellowship and invited us to attend. We did, and the very first Sunday we visited, my daughter went right into the arms of the Nursery attendant, who is now a dear friend! Cucamonga Christian Fellowship and the FMC is our home and family!
